The topics of discussion may be unlimited, so I suggest using our first on-line contacts to choose together 5-6 macro topics which we share, to start up the discussion.
For example, the young people of Kaufbeuren have suggested: “each group creates a list of the different characteristics which exist in their country and to speculate about why and from where these characteristics could have developed.

(An example of a characteristic: we would describe the Germans as people, who like to keep things tidy and proper. We think we have this characteristic, because Germany has had a high population density for centuries. We speculate that this characteristic attribute was formed over the decades because people had to make rules in their neighborhoods to avoid conflicts.)
