Lleida is the most important demographic and economical centre in land Catalonia, situated in the north-east of Spain. It is the capital of Segria Region and the province that takes its name.
It counts 105000 inhabitants.

Lleida is located in one of the most fertile productive areas in Europe. On the River Segre, halfway between the sea and the mountains, situated between Barcelona (156 km) and Zaragoza (140 km) and perfectly communicated, it is on the way that connects the Spanish communications system with the rest of Europe and the Mediterranean. The city is crossed by the Segre river. It has 5 bridges, 3 of them were built in the last three years, so that life on the left side is now possible.

Most of the shops open from 9.30 to 13.30 and from 16.30 to 20.00 or 20.30.
Restaurants are usually open from 13.30 to 15.30 and in the evening, from 21.30 to 23.00.

It also has 16 bus lines which perfectly communicate the different parts of the city.
